Our community is built for adoptive parents, intended parents, foster and foster-to-adopt parents, and others building their families through a different path than pregnancy.
Founding families can join our private forum space now. Founding Family membership is $10 / month for life or $100 / year for life.
You shouldn’t have to explain or defend the way your family was built to be in a parenting community.
Most parenting resources and communities assume you came to parenthood through pregnancy and postpartum. They ask for your due date to be able to join and the advices centers on postpartum changes to your body and hormones. These things matter but they’re not the path for everyone.
You want to do this a different way, with people who get it.

These paths to parenthood are often debated, politicized, and picked apart, frequently by people who’ve never lived them. The “who are the real parents” questions, the “you saved them” praise you didn’t ask for, or the quiet moments of silence after you share how you created your family.
Famally is an advocate for these paths to parenthood. That means we know these families are built with love, care, and intention, and we also keep scrunity on the systems that built them. We believe informed, supported parents make better decisions for everyone involved.
You won’t find savior stories here. No need to defend your family or how you came to be. We’re in your corner.

Why We Charge for Community Access
We don’t want your money to make our content. We are a paid community to keep everyone safe.
We know free alternatives exist. You can find people who’ve been through adoption, surrogacy, and all kinds of complicated parenting solutions on Facebook and Reddit. Some give you thoughtful, useful answers. We don’t pretend these spaces don’t have use.
We’re building something different, on purpose.
When you’re here, you don’t have to explain why you’re asking what you’re asking. Everyone is here because they are building or parenting a family through a different path than pregnancy.
A private, paid community is a different environment than an open forum. Our intention is that this is a safe space to ask questions, celebrate, and learn.
Our community also brings vetted experts into the conversations where experience alone isn’t enough. You have access to ask questions and get feedback from people who are going to give you honest answers.
We know the costs add up when pursuing these paths. If cost is the thing standing between you and support, let us know. We keep a scholarship so any parent who needs to be here can be.
